The museum was temporarily closed from March 2nd in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. We shall reopen the museum on Monday, June 1st, although some services shall remain unavailable.
We would like you to cooperate with the following points for infection prevention when you use the museum.
〇Requests for admission
・We will temporarily limit the number of guests entering the museum so as to avoid the “three Cs” (1. Closed spaces with poor ventilation, 2. Crowded places with many people nearby, 3. Close-contact settings such as close-range conversations).
・We would like to request that you stay in the museum for no more than 30 minutes.
・Please refrain from visiting if you feel ill or have a fever.
・The following areas are still unavailable so as to avoid the “three Cs” and contact infection:
599 Cafe, 599 Shop, Kid’s Study Space, Public Gallery
・For the same reasons, we are suspending the following services:
Contact style exhibitions, Projection mapping shows during busy times
・Please don’t eat and drink in the museum. Chairs are usable in the museum, however tables shall remain unavailable.
・Wear masks during your visit.
・Disinfect with alcohol at the entrance.
・Inside of the museum is regularly sanitized, and by leaving some windows and doors open the air is continually circulating.
・When queueing or watching the exhibitions, please make sure to keep about 2 meters between you and others.
・Please keep quiet in the museum and adhere to proper cough and sneeze etiquette.
